04:00am Pick up from Quito. Arrival to the lek of Andean Cock of the rock (sanguinolenta), Yellow breasted antpitta, dark backed wood quail. Optional: depart for birding the club-winged Manakin lek, sickle-winged guan, Ecuadorian thrush, slate-throated and spectacled whitestart, red-headed barbet, black-capped tanager,crimson-rumped toucanet, metallic-green tanager, toucan barbet, violet tailed sylph, velvet purple coronet, Brown Inca, purple-bibbed white tip, etc. 15:30 pm Back to Quito to your Hotel.
YANACOCHA–TANDAYAPA-SANTA ELENA
05:00am Arrival to Yanacocha Reserve. Chestnut naped antpitta, equatorial antpitta, barred fruiteater, blue capped tanager, hooded mountain tanager, red crested cotinga, buff breasted mountain tanager, scarlet bellied mountain tanager, masked flower piercer, tricolor brushfinch, plate billed mountain toucan, andean guan, aplomado falcon. Hummingbirds: collared inca, tyrian metaltail, sword billed hummingbird, buff winged starfronlet, mountain velvet breast, sparkling violet eared, etc. 16:00 pm Arrival to the Andean cock of the rock bird lek (sanguinolenta) 19:00 pm Back to Quito to your Hotel.

Early pick up at 04:45AM from Quito. We drive toward East from Quito. Visit: Papallacta: (Jameson's Snipe/Andean Snipe). Quijos valley: green jay, andean cock of the rock bird-East, wire crested thorntail hummingbird, white capped tanager, torrent duck, red breasted meadowlark,spotted tanager, fasciated tiger heron, spangled coquete-seasonal, paradise tanager, among other birds of the Upper Amazon. Overnight in Quijos. Early in the morning we dirve toward West from East, then we visit: Yanacocha Reserve to see the sword billed hummingbird, red crested cotinga, andean guan, chestnut naped antpitta, equatorial antpitta, collared inca and other birds. Then we drive to the valley of Tandayapa and part of the Choco: plate billed mountain toucan, andean cock of the rock of the West, choco toucan, collared aracari, lots of hummingbirds: hermits, violet ears, sylphs, woodstars, etc. Late in the afternoon, back to Quito.
